The London Transport Museum offers a distinctive and versatile venue for Christmas parties, combining heritage with contemporary style. Located in the heart of Covent Garden, the Museum’s galleries provide a unique backdrop of historic vehicles and iconic design, creating an atmospheric setting that’s both memorable and flexible.

The venue’s creative concept centres around celebrating London’s transport history in a modern, engaging way. Guests can enjoy immersive experiences among vintage buses and Tube trains, with styling that complements both traditional festive themes and bespoke event concepts. With adaptable spaces, in-house AV, and expert support, the Museum delivers a seamless and stylish event experience.

For Christmas, we’ve partnered with The Ripe Avocado catering team to offer bespoke packages that elevate the guest experience from arrival to departure.

Our décor, created by the Victoria Owen Creative is inspired by the iconic 1992 Poster ‘The Source of London Merry Christmas’ by Frederick Charles Herric. The Museum will feature sustainable installations of holly garlands, tress and paper chains.

A standout feature is our Santa’s Grotto, which adds a playful and interactive element for guests of all ages. Combined with creative catering from The Ripe Avocado, including seasonal menus and themed presentation, the overall vibe is festive, welcoming, and distinctly London.

We are reimagining what it means to be a sustainable museum through our programmes, by being energy efficient and through our dedication to reducing our Carbon Footprint.
On the ground we are improving the energy efficiency of our lighting, heating and cooling appliances. As well as, prioritising recycled and sustainable materials in our exhibitions, displays and what we sell in our shop.

We are incorporating digital elements to reduce the need for printed materials and educating our staff and customers on the importance of green practice.

Our green journey is a collective effort, and we want to make sure our staff and visitors join us on this journey. Some of the ways we are working to build a community that embraces sustainability includes providing carbon literacy training to our staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to make sustainable choices in their work and daily lives.

At London Transport Museum, we ensure smooth and high quality event delivery through structured planning and experienced support. Every event begins with booking a three week ahead call with all suppliers and clients to confirm logistics, align timelines and resolve any outstanding details early.

We work with EVOLVE to provide trained event agency staff who are familiar with the venue and equipped to deliver excellent service. Their professionalism ensures smooth operations and a welcoming guest experience.

To support planning, we encourage multiple site visits for clients and suppliers, these allow for layout planning, AV testing and creative development, helping everyone to feel confident and prepared.

On the night a dedicated event manager is present to oversee delivery, coordinate teams and act as the main point of contact. This ensures responsiveness and consistent service throughout the event.

Our teams proactive approach, clear communication and hands on support create a reliable framework for successful events ensuring every Christmas party runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.

Our Christmas packages include a professional DJ for the full event, creating a lively festive atmosphere. Guests enjoy full AV support with two large screens, one is typically an added cost normally, but included as standard for packages.
