Complementing this, towering 15ft Christmas trees line the sweeping staircase, with decorations subtly echoing the colours and textures of the central theme. Festive statement pieces greet guests on arrival, and for the first time this year, the styling extends to our grand Pall Mall façade, allowing guests to feel the magic before they even step through our doors.

Some of the ways we are doing this is through our décor: reusable nutcracker-inspired centerpieces, designed to reduce waste and offer longevity across seasons; exclusive use of fresh, real Christmas trees—not plastic—sourced responsibly; and avoidance of unnecessary disposables, including choosing not to offer traditional single-use crackers.

Menus champion British, seasonal and local produce, in line with Searcys’ 2025 Sustainability Pledges. We highlight regenerative flour, RSPCA-assured eggs, working with our fishmongers towards exclusively responsible sourced fish and a growing number of plant-based options that currently represents an average of 21% of our event's menu. Waste reduction through mindful preparation and portioning, and the exclusive use of glass, porcelain and metal serviceware further supports our commitment to lower our environmental impact.

A core feature of our festive season is our Giving Tree, inviting guests, members and the wider community to donate gifts to support Great Ormond Street Hospital and Only A Pavement Away.
