Haberdashers' Hall, built in 2002, serves as the modern livery hall for the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers—one
of the Great Twelve Livery Companies in London, with a heritage dating back to its 1448 charter. Originally focused on
regulating haberdashery trade, the Company now emphasizes education and charity, overseeing 16 schools and four
trusts. Today, he Hall hosts numerous commercial events including Christmas parties and festive receptions.
Events at Haberdashers' Hall are supported by Graysons catering and decor professionals, with a focus on flexibility, tailored service, and guest care—including dietary needs and seamless coordination.
Hosting Christmas at Haberdashers' Hall offers an unforgettable experience in one of London's most prestigious venues. This elegant location, with its stunning Georgian architecture and sophisticated interiors, provides the perfect backdrop for festive celebrations. Guests can enjoy the warmth and charm of beautifully decorated rooms, exquisite catering and impeccable service, all whilst soaking up the historic ambience of this iconic venue.
Whether it is an intimate gathering or larger grand party, Haberdashers' Hall ensures a magical and memorable Christmas event.
We are proud to say that we were the home of a large annual Christmas showcase for two years in a row which allowed the venue to be transformed into Santa's grotto overnight, working with some of the key most prestigious decor, lighting and event planners in the industry. Embracing the classic and rich history of the venue and creating a traditional christmas feel for guests.
During summer 2025 the hall will undergo a kitchen refurbishment
which will switch out remaining fossil fuel usage and change it to renewable sources which will be supported by a heat
pump.
Events being hosted at the Hall contribute to supporting the philanthropic work of the company, each year we give
grants totalling over £1 million which go to supporting organisations embedded in their local communities, working to
bring about positive change for those they support.
By supporting the communities that surround Haberdasher schools and churches, the Company’s grant-making is
fundamental in fulfilling its Purpose to “empower young people from every background to fulfil their potential through
our schools and by supporting their communities.”
Our grant-making is therefore underpinned by listening to the communities we serve, and the charities that work with
them. We appreciate that the experts are those rooted in those places, living and working there.
Gabriele our Head Chef prepares some of the best food in the city using the freshest seasonal ingredients. He often
creates bespoke menus also and recently created a West Indian themed menu to support a small charity event being
hosted at the Hall. Through event tastings with our clients we are able to work collaboratively to ensure menus are
crafted to their palates and enhance the overall guest experience.
The operations team and the chefs spend time each event to offer food to clients with special dietary
requirements or allergens which ensure they feel considered and cared for. The teams always prepare maps prior to
service and have a dedicated team who integrate the diets into service to ensure all guests are served at similar
times. The chefs and operations team also have a thorough briefing in advance of the event and on the day to ensure
that all requirements are considered to ensure smooth service. We have a dedicated wine team on our dinners who
ensure that no glass is ever left empty to ensure guests enjoyment. We make guests feel welcomed and cared for
from start to finish on events. We are always flexible to changes on the day and facilitate these without hesitation
understanding that the success of the event is down to each of our team playing their role effectively.
We work and collaborate with event planners in the lead up to the event to ensure that we have all information
required for each area of the delivery and service. This allows us to offer seamless service for the events and
attendees. The operations team and the chefs spend time each event to offer food to clients with special dietary
