The venue is so mailable, which means we can move things around and remove bits to make room for things like vinyls dance floor wraps, production equipment, live bands, drag performances, roaming performers, additional photobooths, etc.

We create a memorable festive atmosphere by fully embracing Christmas and transforming the venue into a high-energy celebration space from the moment guests arrive. The décor sets the tone immediately, with two giant Christmas trees, garlands, and baubles throughout the venue, creating an immersive and unmistakably festive environment.

Lighting plays a crucial role in shaping the experience as the day turns into night. A large disco ball and colour-changing lights elevate the space, transforming the dancefloor into a vibrant party setting that carries on into the early hours. This dynamic lighting keeps the atmosphere lively, fun, and unmistakably celebratory.

Music is at the heart of the experience. A live DJ delivers a curated mix of Christmas classics and party anthems, maintaining high energy levels and ensuring the celebration never loses momentum.

And if that wasn’t enough, we have Christmas crackers on hand to spark a sense of nostalgia and fun, bringing out guests’ inner child and adding an extra touch of festive magic to the overall vibe.

We also offer our largest clients who exclusively hire out either 1 floor or the entire venue, to programme the screens in our venue with their own branding and videos to really add that personalised touch and add to the overall experience.

For Christmas this year, BrewDog Waterloo made a conscious decision to rethink a traditional festive element at scale. With over 40,000 guests booked across 52 days, we replaced our standard Christmas crackers with a more sustainable and inclusive alternative.

The new crackers are fully recyclable, contain no plastic gifts, and have no snap. Removing the snap was an intentional choice to make the experience more inclusive for guests who may be sensitive to loud noises, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festive moment comfortably. By eliminating plastic components, we significantly reduced waste while still retaining the fun and communal aspect of pulling a cracker together.

We also focus on responsible hospitality. Our team is trained to promote safe and responsible drinking, and we provide ample non-alcoholic options to ensure all guests can enjoy the celebration responsibly (we may predominately sell beer, but we've got lots of other options too).

We provide a balanced mix of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options, and for guests with specific allergies or dietary requirements, we offer a meal token system. This allows them to order directly with our management staff, ensuring full compliance with allergen protocols and a seamless dining experience.

Our beverage offering is equally impressive. With two bars and 60 draught lines across the venue, clients can set up a bar tab or opt for welcome drinks and tailored drink packages, keeping queues short and the atmosphere flowing. We cater to all preferences, offering a wide range of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. For those seeking something extra, our in-venue Grind Cocktail Bar can create bespoke cocktails and mocktails, providing unique options that complement the festive menu.

This year we even created a custom cocktail (complete with edible glitter) for one of our full venue hires, meant to replicate a drink a drinks from their video games and it turned out amazing and the client was so surprised and happy!

Comprehensive Event Management Plans are developed months in advance, covering all operational, technical, and service requirements. These plans are shared with the wider venue team well ahead of the event to gather feedback, identify any potential challenges, and ensure full alignment across departments. Final details are then confirmed with the client to guarantee expectations are met and exceeded.

On the day of the event, Annelise remains on hand to ensure the client is fully looked after and that the event runs smoothly from start to finish. All communication between the client and the venue is managed through her, providing a clear and efficient channel for any requests, updates, or last-minute adjustments. This approach allows the on-site team to focus on delivery, while the client enjoys a seamless, stress-free experience.

We offer different games in the darts lounge and can even create personalised quizzes for clients to play. For something more unexpected, our giant slide adds a playful, high-impact element that never fails to get guests talking.

We also provide three Ping Pong tables, which can easily be converted for Beer Pong, giving guests flexible options that suit both daytime socials and late-night celebrations.

Our Photobooth hire adds another layer of engagement, with extensive customisation options.
